The Alumni Liaison Committee creates the list of alumni and contacts them to find out if they can help a current member get a job in their new company.
There are three current methods of creating the database:
- When the member attends a meeting and announces their job (and brings snack), the alumni fills out the info on the alumni form
- When a member hasn’t attended a meeting for 4 weeks, we give them a call. If they haven’t landed a job yet, they are invited to start coming again or whether they should be removed from the membership list
- An alumni can join through the website’s Alumni registration form
Current thinking is to send a succinct monthly announcement on LinkedIn with the alumni of the last month and other notices. We are also considering having quarterly social events like BBQ or hikes.
Meetings
Weekly Alumni Committee meetings are arranged by the chairman. Committee members will be notified.
