The Web/Online Committee ensures that the website is in good working order. We promote the contribution of website content by committees and members by providing the means and instructions to do so.
We are available for questions about the use of the website, assistance in adding content, and troubleshooting any problems with the website.
We are also responsible for the Online Communities part of the web presence:
- Sending invitations to new members to join the LinkedIn LongNet Group
- Encourage the use of LinkedIn by all LongNet members, both active and alumni
- Providing a resource for understanding and effectively using LinkedIn
- Assessing the social community needs of the organization and selecting available technologies that meet those needs (Huddle, Ning, Facebook, etc.)
